Chasing Rainbows

A lot of times,
I get really scared.
Tears rolled.

The lair as a home to many,
It has been a threat to mine,
A posing danger.

Like the dark rolling clouds,
Soon, the fat raindrops fall unto the ground.
You don’t really know when the rain is here
Till you feel the raindrops on your hair.

I don’t talk and certainly not ask.
It hurts to hear or
Be reminded of your change.

Have it ever occurred to you,
That you have changed?
A big change?

Someone so dear.
Someone I love.Yet
I feel I don’t know you anymore
A stranger now?

I cry out to God.
Asking him to change the things it is.
To take away the scary nightmare.

Alot of times,
I get really scared.

Will you change?

Will you heal daddy’s broken heart?
To build the trust like before?

Will you heal my broken heart?
Return me in your arms like before?

Will you heal my brother’s broken heart?
Make him feel safe and love like before?
Will you heal this home?
Rekindle the warmth and love?

Is it too much to ask?
Am I too greedy?

I promise to be a good girl.

Will you promise me to be good too?
